Ingredients:
urad dal / black gram without outershell - 1 cup
rice - 3 cups
rice - 3 cups
tomatoes - 4 bunch
Procedure ::
soak the rice and gram for 5-6 hours and grind them well add less water while grinding. process the tomatoes to a pulp. add the pulp to the dosa mix. add salt and water as required. the mixture should be flowing (like the pancake mixture).
Take a flat pan /tawa heat it. once heated sprinkle some oil and spread it. sprinkle some water and spread it. This will remove the oil and keep the tawa ready for non sticky dosas.
take a dollop of dosa mix and place it on the tawa. spread it in circles to form a round shaped dosa. put some oil on the sides. after a minute flip it to cook on both sides.
dosa can be had with varieties of chutneys, sambar and curries
