Ingredients:
For dough:
maida ( all purpose flour) - 2cups
baking powder - 1/2 tspn
salt - 1 tspn
baking powder - 1/2 tspn
salt - 1 tspn
For filling:
potato - 1 large ( peeled, boiled and mashed)
onions - 2 ( finely diced)
carrots - 2 medium ( grated)
cabbage - 100 gms ( finely chopped)
coriander leaves - small bunch (finely chopped)
ginger - 1 tspn ( finely chopped)
garlic - 1 tspn ( finely chopped)
salt to taste
chilli powder - 2 tspn
soy sauce - 1 tbspn
onions - 2 ( finely diced)

cabbage - 100 gms ( finely chopped)

ginger - 1 tspn ( finely chopped)

Procedure:
Dough:
Mix all the dry ingredients of the dough and add water and start mixing till you get a soft dough. keep it aside for 30 mins.
Filling:
add some oil in a wok , add ginger and garlic saute for a minute. add onions and fry till translucent. add carrots ,cabbage , salt and cook it under medium flame for 15 mins ( till cooked). add soy sauce , chilli powder and mix well. add the mashed potatoes and coriander leaves and mix it to a fine mixture.
Make small balls of the mixture for filling
Roll out the dough as thin as translucent.put the mixture ball in the middle and cover it and close by rotating the leftouts to get into shape.
Steam the momos till done. serve with chutney/tomato sauce.
